Welcome to

flashfic_hub, a home for Torchwood flashfic fun on Dreamwidth!

It works much like any flashfic community you may already be familiar with, but to summarise:

Mods ask for suggestions of prompts - generally broad themes.

Mods select from this list and post a prompt as a fortnightly 'challenge'.

Community members run with the prompt and write a story, posting to the community before the fortnight is through.

Rinse and repeat!

Rules are relaxed; the purpose of this community is to provide stimulation for writers who require a bit more structure or inspiration.

Community members are not obliged to partake in every challenge.

All fics posted must be in response to the current challenge.

There's no word limit on challenge responses, and no limit as to how many stories you can write for each challenge. Multi-part stories are welcome, but the story must be complete.

You're more than welcome to take previous prompts (or mine the prompt threads) for inspiration and run with it in your own space, but we ask that you stick to the challenge's timeframe when posting to the community.

There are a set of tags authors should use when posting to help make the community browsable for readers.

Please use cutaways when posting stories of any length.

Each post should include at the very least the following header information:

Title:
Author:
Rating:
Warnings (inc spoilers):
Summary:

Include the title of your story in the subject line of your post. You may also wish to include your name, and/or a rating, and/or a pairing/genre. (e.g. "Really Awesome Title by Author (CharacterA/CharacterB, Rating)")
